Italy - Latium, Maremma
Maremma and its many territories, since centuries is the place in Italy where you can find the largest massing of animals breeded in a wild state. Large natural areas, big farm and wide rural areas, placed between the town of Viterbo and Roma better known as Maremma Laziale.
World Horse Riding selected a riding trip in the Maremma Laziale through the last wide territorial areas, where until today live cattle and horses breeded in a wild state. A natural Mediterranean environment with places full of history and many testimonies from the past dating back at the Etruscan, Roman and Medieval period.
